STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Step 1: Review Eligibility
Before applying, ensure that you meet the basic eligibility criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
-
Active teaching license from your home country
-
Proficient in English (spoken and written)
-
Actively teaching in a K–12 school (preferred)
-
Willing to pursue U.S. state licensure
-
Open to an H-1B visa process sponsored by a U.S. school district
Step 2: Prepare All Required Documents
To avoid delays, prepare the following documents before starting the form:

Resume and Cover Letter (combined as one PDF)

Two Letters of Recommendation (one from a supervisor, one from a colleague)

Foreign Credential Evaluation (course-by-course from WES or SpanTran)
-
Valid Teaching License (home country)
-
U.S. Teaching License (if applicable)

Valid Passport (valid for at least 3 more years or include proof of renewal)

Introduction Video (2–3 mins: introduce yourself and your teaching philosophy)

Teaching Demo Video (5 mins: showcase classroom technique and student engagement)
Step 3: Complete the Online Application Form
Fill out the application form carefully and honestly. You will be asked to:

Answer questions about your teaching experience and qualifications

Provide document upload links and/or attach files
-
Certify and sign your application

Step 4: Await Follow-Up Communication
After submission:

Our team will review your application and documents

You may be contacted for further screening or clarifications

Qualified candidates will first participate in a virtual interview with the TeachCare team. Upon successful completion, your profile will be forwarded to partnering U.S. school districts for further review and potential interview or placement.
Step 5: Matching and Visa Process
Once matched with a school district:

You will receive a conditional job offer
-
The district will initiate the H-1B visa process (March–June window)

We will guide you through pre-departure requirements, embassy interviews, and onboarding
